However, our Travel Disruption Extension (included on our Signature policies or available as an add-on) can cover cancellations, curtailment and additional travel costs if war breaks out after you’ve taken out your policy. Keep in mind that the situation must not already be happening or reasonably expected at the time of purchase, which is why it's best to buy your cover as soon as you've booked your holiday.</p>
